Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 11th that it is commencing the operation of the largest domestic 'HMG Driving Experience Center' in the 2024 season, offering special driving experiences with Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis models.

 

The HMG Driving Experience Center is the largest domestic driving facility built within the Korea Testing Grounds in Taean, Chungnam.

The center consists of the Korea Techno Ring test track (1.26 million square meters), a customer-exclusive building spanning two floors and measuring 10,223 square meters, and 8 driving experience courses, allowing visitors to enjoy various driving experiences and brand interactions.

The 8 driving experience courses, offering dynamic driving experiences, include a braking course, a dry track circuit under harsh conditions, a wet track circuit, a 4.6km high-speed circuit, a multipurpose driving course featuring gymkhana and composite slaloms, a wet skidpad course for experiencing drifts, a kick plate course, and Asia's largest off-road course designed for sports utility vehicles (SUVs) featuring inclines, gravel, sand, bumps, and water crossings.

The center program is structured into 'Driving Experience,' where participants can learn from basic driving skills to racing techniques, and 'Driving Pleasure,' which allows individuals of all ages to enjoy the thrill of driving regardless of age.

 

A new high-performance electric vehicle exclusive advanced education program, called 'GT Performance,' is also launched, where participants can learn performance manipulation and driving for 7 hours while riding the Kia EV6 GT.

 

In the 'Driving Pleasure' section, a new program called 'Camping Experience' has been introduced, where participants can enjoy a 1-night 2-day camping trip with the Ioniq 5 and EV9.

Moreover, the 'Junior Driving Experience' program, open to children aged 4 to 9, will also be strengthened.
