The cherry blossom orchard, a major attraction in Incheon, SK Incheon Petrochemical's cherry blossom orchard, will be open to local residents for the first time in five years.

 

SK Incheon Petrochemical announced on the 27th that it will open the cherry blossom orchard within its facility in Seo-gu, Incheon City for six days from the 4th to the 9th of next month.

The cherry blossom orchard, spanning over 35,000 square meters, features hundreds of cherry blossom trees forming lush clusters along a 1.5km walking path.

 

It is also known as the filming location for the movie adaptation of the webtoon by the comic artist Kang Full, titled 'I Love You'.

 

 

 

 

Every year, the cherry blossom orchard opening event was held in line with the flowering season.

 

However, from 2020 to last year, for four years, the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and changes in weather.

This year, the cherry blossom orchard will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and bringing in food, beverages, or pets is not allowed.

 

There is no separate parking space for visitors around the cherry blossom orchard, so visitors must use public transportation or walk to the site.

An SK Incheon Petrochemical official stated, 'We are opening the walking path after five years to provide a space for residents to take a break from their daily lives and enjoy the cherry blossoms.'
