Director Kim Tae-yong explained, "'Wonderland' is a service that allows the living to see those they can't anymore.

 

I was curious about how people who have lost loved ones would perceive this service and whether emotional communication would be possible.

 

Although it might seem fantastical, I aimed to capture the various ways people live with AI."

 

 

He added, "I pondered a lot about the beginning and end scenes.

 

I imagined an AI monitoring other AIs and drew parallels between an AI discovering its identity and humans recognizing reality.
