Taekwondo Traditional Martial Art to Contemporary Art
Taekwondo, the most recognized form of Korean martial arts, is a sport that emphasizes morality, humility, and respect for each other.
It has become a world-renowned sport for trainees to improve their physical and mental abilities.
This martial art teaches both defense and attack skills without using weapons.
However, Taekwondo focuses more on defense because of its spirit of respecting peace and justice.
Above all, Taekwondo is surprising in that it is approaching the public through its combination with performance away from sports.
Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters, performed at The World's Best Championship Round.
In the side of Globalising Taekwondo as a public sports they achieved their goal.
Also the K-Tiggers show Taekwondo collaborating with the Korean K-pop. Their meticulous movements and their performance over the air are truly amazing. One of their performance along the BTS - Blood Sweat & Tears is insane.
Their performance is going abroad outside of Korea, and the world demonstration taekwon team brings together players from various countries to create a special harmony.
They appeared in America's Got Talent 2021 and audience applauded loudly.
