Samsung Electronics will unveil its new foldable phone series, Galaxy Z Flip and Fold 6, along with the company's first smart ring, Galaxy Ring, at the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, ahead of the Olympics opening.

At the event, Samsung will showcase its second AI smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip 6, following the AI smartphone Galaxy S24 series launched earlier this year.

 

Other new products to be unveiled include the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Buds 3.

 

 

 

The Galaxy Z Fold and Flip 6 will feature real-time AI translation, similar to the Galaxy S24.

 

This function can be used in third-party messaging applications such as WhatsApp and KakaoTalk.

 

Additionally, when the device is set at a 90-degree angle, the internal and external screens will display the languages used by the conversation participants, enhancing the convenience of AI real-time translation.

 

Other AI features from the Galaxy S24, such as call recording summaries and the image search 'Circle to Search', are also expected to be included.

 

 

 

Particularly, the Z Fold 6, which supports the S Pen, is expected to introduce the 'AI Graffiti' feature, allowing AI to enhance user-drawn images.

All models in the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip 6 series are anticipated to be equipped with the 'Snapdragon 8 3rd Generation' processor, an upgrade from the 'Snapdragon 8 2nd Generation' used in the previous models.

 

 

 

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to feature a 12GB RAM, up from the previous 8GB, and a battery capacity increased by about 10% to 4000mAh.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Ring, a smart ring product, will debut as a healthcare-focused form factor, weighing in the 2g range and boasting 24-hour wearability.

Additionally, the Galaxy Watch 7 series and Buds 3 will also be unveiled.
