You can now reserve and pay for Han River water leisure activities through the Kakao Taxi app, 'Kakao T'.

 

On the 14th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that they partnered with Kakao Mobility to create a 'Han River Water Activities' tab in the KakaoT app.

 

 

 

Previously, it was challenging to find information about water activities like water skiing, kayaking, and yachting on the Han River unless you joined a related club.

Many citizens were unaware that they could enjoy leisure activities on the Han River without traveling far.

 

Now, with the Kakao Taxi app, used by 38 million people, anyone can easily access Han River leisure activities.

 

By selecting the 'Han River Water Activities'(한강물놀이) theme in the KakaoT travel tab, users can access over 50 facilities and programs from nine water leisure and cruise businesses.

 

 

 

You can book activities ranging from canoeing, paddleboarding, and windsurfing at Ttukseom Hangang Park to water skiing lessons, banana boats at Jamwon Hangang Park, and yachting at Banpo Hangang Park.

 

 

Starting July 15, there will also be discount events for water skiing, sunset kayaking, and wakeboarding programs.

To access reservation information, click the 'Han River Water Activities' icon or banner in the travel tab of the Kakao T app.

 

You can check reservation information for water leisure activities and ferries or view available facilities and programs by location on the Han River map in the Leisure/Ticket tab.

 

Additionally, the city plans to utilize full-screen pop-ups within the Kakao T app and pop-up windows when using Han River parking lots to ensure more citizens can access reservation information.

 

Intuitive markers on the map will also be used to enhance visibility.

Furthermore, the service will be expanded to include Han River riverbuses, Hangang Park swimming pools, sledding slopes, riverside sports facilities, and bike rental stations.

 

The city will collaborate with various private platforms, including Kakao T.
