No Brand Burger, a global burger franchise, launches a 100% plant-based 'Better Burger' The No Brand Burger, owned by Shinsegae Food, announced on the 16th that it has launched a 'Better Burger' made entirely from plant-based ingredients, making it the first among burger franchises worldwide to do so.

 

The Better Burger is made entirely from plant-based ingredients developed by Shinsegae Food's in-house food tech capabilities, including the Better Bun, a 100% plant-based burger bun, the Better Meat patty made from plant-based alternative meat, as well as recently developed plant-based cheese and sauce.

 

Among burger franchises worldwide, the Better Burger from No Brand Burger is the first to include plant-based cheese in its recipe.

 

Especially for consumers who enjoy meat, the burger includes the Better Meat patty, as well as a plant-based Bolognese sauce made with textured vegetable protein to provide a rich meaty flavor.

 

Additionally, the burger is topped with fresh vegetables such as plant-based tomato sauce, lettuce, and onions to offer a healthy option.

 

To commemorate the launch of the Better Burger, No Brand Burger is offering a free set-up coupon for set menus at the price of a single item when ordering through the No Brand Burger app until the 22nd of this month.

 

In addition, the company plans to continuously introduce various plant-based menu options through its low-carbon and healthy menu category, "Better Choice," spreading positive experiences of alternative foods and social values such as human health, the environment, and animal welfare.

 

In June, the company plans to introduce "Better Nuggets," which uses 100% plant-based ingredients to bring out the taste of chicken nuggets.

 

A Shinsegae Food official stated, "We have introduced the Better Burger made from plant-based ingredients developed through our in-house food tech capabilities to provide a more delicious and healthier burger to MZ generation consumers who value value consumption.
