The operation of night buses that connect Incheon International Airport and central Seoul has been resumed.
Incheon International Airport Corp. (IIAC) on March 20 said it restarted roundtrip night bus service between the airport and Seoul 26 months after its suspension in January 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Travelers can thus ride night buses on three routes : N6000 (Terminal 1 to Express Bus Terminal), N6001 (Terminal 1 to Seoul Station) and N6002 (Terminal 2 to Express Bus Terminal and Seoul Station).
A combined 12 buses daily run on these routes.
On March 20 at 10:40 p.m., a N6000 bus left Express Bus Terminal for the airport's Terminal 1 to resume night service.
The bus takes about 70 minutes to get to the airport.
IIAC said that from May, it will expand the routes to five and run 26 buses daily.
Company CEO Kim Kyung Wook said, "In the wake of full-scale recovery in the number of passengers, we will do our best to expand airport operations and services to prevent disruptions to the normalization of such operations."
