It is a stew-type version of hot chicken noodle, also known as fire noodle.

 

This specific product was made by Samyang, a popular Korean food brand known for their spicy ramen noodles.

 

If you are a spicy lover, you might have tried hot chicken noodle at least once.

 

The Stew Type product is a variation of their original hot chicken flavor but with a thicker and more stew-like consistency.

 

 

 

However, it was discontinued in packaged form in 2018 and cup noodles in 2022.

 

As a result, it is no longer available for purchase domestically in South Korea.

 

The reason for its discontinuation was the relatively low domestic sales volume.

 

Samyang stated that the domestic sales were not as high as other products like the original Hot Chicken Ramen, so they focused on overseas markets.

 

 

This Stew Type Buldak Bokkeum Tangmyeon was only produced for export, and it could only be purchased through overseas direct purchasing.

 

However, online community posts express disappointment about the product's discontinuation and hope for its re-release.

"I wish there was active promotion for the re-release of Buldak Bokkeum Tangmyeon," and "Please come back soon" continue to be posted.
