A Commitment to Running Innovation

During a press conference held on March 14, PUMA Korea’s CEO, Na-Young Lee, emphasized the brand’s dedication to advancing running technology in Korea.

She highlighted the increasing popularity of running in the country and reiterated PUMA’s commitment to expanding its influence in this sector.

Lee also underscored the uniqueness of PUMA’s nitrogen-infused midsole technology, which enhances durability and energy return, setting it apart from competitors.

Visitors to the pop-up store will have the opportunity to experience this technology firsthand.

The store features a section where PUMA running shoes, including carbon-plated models, are fully disassembled to showcase their construction.

Customers can examine the shoe’s upper, midsole, carbon plate, and outsole grip in detail.

The NITRO foam’s soft yet resilient texture can be touched, and the carbon plate’s flexibility tested, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of PUMA’s innovative approach.

Why PUMA’s NITRO Technology Stands Out

While a few other brands, including Adidas, have experimented with nitrogen-injected midsoles, PUMA remains the only brand that has continuously developed and refined this technology into a commercial product line.

The nitrogen-infusion process involves compressing and embedding nitrogen into the midsole foam, creating a lightweight, bouncy, and highly responsive cushioning system.

Unlike traditional foam midsoles, which degrade over time, PUMA’s nitrogen-infused technology retains its energy-returning properties, offering long-lasting performance for runners.

With a range of PUMA’s latest running shoes available for trial, the pop-up store provides a rare opportunity for runners to find the perfect fit tailored to their needs.

Whether for marathon training, casual running, or fitness enthusiasts looking for cutting-edge performance gear, PUMA’s NITRO HOUSE in Seongsu-dong is set to become a must-visit destination this spring.

As the running boom continues to grow in Korea, PUMA’s commitment to innovation and sustainability ensures that runners can experience the best in modern running footwear.

Don’t miss the chance to explore the NITRO HOUSE pop-up and discover PUMA’s next-generation running technology firsthand!
