The Korea Tourism Organization selected 51 representative courses for Hallyu tourism that introduce Hallyu-themed tourist destinations such as K-pop, drama, and movie filming sites for Hallyu fans around the world and announced them on the 21st.

 

The 51 representative courses included more than 200 Hallyu tourist attractions under six themes, including K-pop, Hallyu stars, dramas, entertainment, movies and K-content.

 

These are places that Hallyu fans would have been curious about at least once, including K-pop music video filming sites that catch their eyes with their splendid visual beauty, popular dramas such as "Vinsenzo(빈센조)" and "Gat Village Chachacha(갯마을 차차차)," and location tours that appeared in the movie.

 

In addition, it introduces experiences that Korean Wave fans can enjoy, such as popular entertainment filming sites and Euljiro Pocha Street.

The corporation produced 14 carefully selected courses out of 51 courses as "Hallyu Wiki," a guidebook.

It is a guidebook for individual tourists (FIT) and consists of two parts: Seoul and the metropolitan area (7 courses) and regional (7 courses).

 

Korean guidebooks can be viewed as e-books on websites and apps in every corner of Korea, and three language guidebooks, including English, Japanese, and Chinese, will be released in the middle of next month.

 

"We expect 51 representative courses to help the travel industry commercialize Hallyu tourism," said Kim Dong-il, head of the Korean Wave Contents Division.

"As the skyway normalizes, the number of Hallyu fans visiting Korea is increasing, and we will continue to discover and promote various courses so that Hallyu contents can lead to actual tours to Korea."
