Bukaksan is a mountain located behind the Blue House where current President lives.

Therefore, if you hike upto the top of the mountain, you can see the Kyeongbokgung Palace and Blue House at the same time.

You can also see them at Inwangsan Mountain too, but the view from Bukhansan is way clearer.

There are lots of relaxing places on the way to the top, so it’s a great start to experience K-mountain for a beginner or a newbie.

불암산 Buramsan Mountain (508m) ★★

The most loved tracking starting point address : 서울특별시 노원구 덕릉로 112길 56-24 (불암산 공원 Buramsam Park)

 

Buramsam is also a mountain usually recommended for hiking beginners, but it’s higher than Bukaksan.

Bukaksan is surrounded by mountains, so it’s also highly recommended for hikers who especially prefer rock mountains. Usually rock mountains provides more excitedness and fun to hikers, so we bet you will love this place.

If you go to the top, you can see the Seoul packed with apartment complexes, so it will present you different vibes from where you were born and grew up.

Bukhansan is the highest mountain in Seoul and it’s also a rock mountain.

It’s a big tour attraction for tourists as well since it is very big and you can see down Seoul in 360’ angle.

The way to the top is especially very slippery and high, so there are some people who just give up going to the top, but it’s definitely worth it visiting and there are so many people helping each other.
