Swing, a personal mobility sharing startup, has launched an electric scooter sharing service for the first time in Korea.

Swing deployed electric scooters in parts of Seoul and started operating a shared service.

It has deployed and started operation of 1,000 electric bicycles throughout Seoul, and plans to expand the service area nationwide by recruiting electric scooters and electric bicycle franchise operators.

How much is it?

Swing is holding an event with kickboard fees to commemorate the launch of the scooter sharing service.

The usage fee is as follows.

 

Weekly : Unlock 1,200 won / 180 won per minute

Night : Unlock 1,200 won / 250 won per minute

 

 

 

How to Rent?

1. Download the swing app (Google Play Store, Apple App Store)

2. Register payment method. (Automatic payment is possible without additional procedure after recording.)

3. Register your license (both kickboard and scooter require a Type 2 small/motor license or driver's license).

4. Scan the QR code attached to the scooter or kickboard.

5. Operate scooters or kickboards (must wear a helmet).

 

 

 

Return the scooter

You can return the device by parking it in the returnable area and taking a picture of the return.

**If you park in a non-returnable area, you will incur a penalty of 10,000 won.

 

 

 

How to use scooter?

For your safety, they have limited the maximum speed to 40 km/h, and all electric scooters are fitted with helmet boxes to provide helmets.

Users can check if there is a helmet in the box with the app in advance.

3. The ready indicator lights up.
