Everland Introduces Thrilling ‘River Trail Adventure’ Safari Experience
Everland, South Korea’s premier theme park, is set to launch an exciting new safari adventure program called River Trail Adventure on the 21st.
This one-of-a-kind experience allows visitors to walk along a specially constructed waterway, offering them an unprecedented opportunity to observe majestic wildlife, including lions, giraffes, and elephants, from an up-close perspective.
Traditionally, guests could only explore Everland’s renowned safari attractions—Safari World and Lost Valley—via specially designed safari vehicles.
However, with the introduction of River Trail Adventure, visitors can now embark on an immersive walking safari, providing an entirely new way to experience wildlife encounters.
The River Trail Adventure route follows a scenic path along the waterway that connects Safari World and Lost Valley.
To facilitate this remarkable journey, Everland has constructed a massive floating bridge spanning 110 meters in length and 3 meters in width.
The bridge, made possible by over 1,500 pontoons and reinforced with safety fences, ensures a secure yet exhilarating adventure for participants.
The adventure begins at the Lost Valley waiting area, where participants gather before boarding a nostalgic safari bus.
This bus transports them to the entrance of River Trail Adventure, setting the stage for an unforgettable expedition.
Upon arrival, guests embark on their walking safari, first passing over the Tau Bridge—a scenic entrance into the safari zone—before reaching the newly installed floating bridge departure point.
As they traverse the path, they will have the rare opportunity to observe iconic animals such as Kosik, the famous elephant known for mimicking human speech, as well as graceful giraffes towering over the landscape.
Once visitors step onto the floating bridge, the excitement intensifies.
The 220-meter round-trip waterway path is flanked by wild predators, including lions and hyenas, creating an exhilarating experience that closely resembles an authentic safari in the wild.
Meanwhile, gentle giants such as elephants and giraffes roam nearby, offering a striking contrast to the carnivorous residents of the park.
In addition to these well-known safari animals, participants will encounter various fascinating species, including elands, crowned cranes, and pelicans.
These animals move freely in their carefully curated natural habitat, allowing visitors to witness their behaviors in a setting designed to mimic the wild as closely as possible.
The River Trail Adventure is not just about thrilling encounters—it is also an educational journey.
As part of the experience, a guided docent program is available, led by an expedition leader who shares intriguing ecological facts about the animals, their habitats, and the importance of wildlife conservation.
This enriching component adds depth to the adventure, making it a meaningful experience for guests of all ages.
The entire River Trail Adventure lasts approximately 30 minutes, including the 15-minute waterway walking safari.
To maintain an intimate and immersive experience, each session accommodates up to 40 participants.
Visitors interested in taking part can secure their spots through Everland’s official mobile app, with reservations opening on the 14th.
The adventure is a paid experience, with pricing varying between weekdays and weekends.
For those who prefer to experience Everland’s classic safari attractions, Safari World and Lost Valley will continue operating separately from River Trail Adventure.
These existing safari programs will remain accessible to all visitors without additional charges.
With the introduction of River Trail Adventure, Everland continues to push the boundaries of wildlife-themed attractions, blending education, adventure, and conservation awareness into an unparalleled experience.
This groundbreaking safari adventure promises to be a must-visit highlight for nature lovers, thrill-seekers, and families looking to create unforgettable memories.
