"When I initially received the script for 'Doona!,' I was taken aback by how much I could relate to the character of Doona," remarked Bae Suzy during an interview with reporters at a café in Seoul's central Jung District on Thursday.

In "Doona!," Suzy's character, Doona, is a former idol who unexpectedly and mysteriously announces her retirement from the entertainment industry.

 

She retreats to a shared house near a university.

While portraying Doona, Suzy took to the stage after a long hiatus.

 

Her dance moves as Doona brought back memories of Suzy, who debuted as a member of Miss A with "Bad Girl Good Girl" in 2010.

 

Notably, actor Go Ah-sung made a special appearance, playing a member of the same group, which garnered a lot of attention.

 

When she stepped onto the stage, Suzy revealed that she was solely focused on the performance.

 

She stated, "I had a unique feeling from the moment I started practicing. While preparing for the stage, I got to rehearse and harmonize again after a long time. Since there was an audience and we had to film the scene in one go, I could only think about the stage."
